? Is \Morales too old and past it

From what i've seen of danny his not really a mover, so morales slow legs might not mean as much

Kell were good but this is still domestic level, matthew is a domestic level fighter, he seems hard to nail and puches from weird angles, power doesn't look devastating but hits hard enough.

They need to test him against a world class opponent, malignaggi would have been excellent

Macklin made the fight easier than i expected by boxing rather than slugging. I reckon he could have stood more of a punchers chance if he just went in there trying to ko sergio, sergio showed that he has the power to beat any middleweight, his hand speed and accuracy is brilliant. I reckon the Barker fight was harder for martinez. Martinez now needs to fight the other so called champions instead of making these meaningless defences

Malignaggi is not a world class opponent. He is now, at best a gatekeeper, that is smaller than Matty Hatton and with even less of a punch if possible.

I think Morales can get a tight decision here, I'm thinking with a similar fight occcuring to the Maidana bout with a more limited and less powerful & strong guy against him. loses a few early, but as Garcia slows down, Morales backs him up and starts hurting him big with methodical boxing and counterpunching.

If anything i think Macklin proved that Martinez is not an elite level boxer, more a fast and awkward guy. Mack had far more success with this boxing tactic than he ever would have had swarming Sergio.

Seriously believe Martinez takes a lesson in boxing from Lara should they meet, and wouldn't completely rule out Martin Murray being able to blend the BArker/Macklin tactics nicely to push Martinez really bloody close (FWIW i consider Murray to be the weaker of the 3 brits, but think he has enough all round to trouble Martinez, or make him look utterly average)

I think if Macklin tried to brawl, the end would have come even sooner, as soon as Macklin put him down, Martinez turned on the heat, he would have done the same, but even earlier, I just dont think Macklin had the tools or experience to deal with him.

You make it seem like Macklin was bombed out early instead of getting stopped at the end of the 11th round.

Stop being pedantic, is sooner and earlier enough.

Fact is, Martinez would have won no matter what Macklin did, he is more experienced, faster, hits harder, is more versatile, and much smarter.

No shame in that, Martinez is a very special fighter.

Macklin is a very good fighter, Martinez a great one.

As for Morales, I thought he'd be leaving the ring on a stretcher against Maidana but Maidana was more buzzed in the fight than he was

So after that, not writing him off

I'm giiving Morales a chance, but I don't think that he'll win.

Who gives Give's Morales a chance??? Not me, Morales doesn't answer to anyone.

On the other hand if Give IS Morales, I'm not sure, are we talking alter ego? If the mysterious Give can inject some of the old Morales into Morales, maybe he does have a chance.
