UNDEFEATED - DAVE COLDWELL - 16th March 2012

Great night of boxing - great show - absolutely enjoyed it!
The main event JAMIE BALL VS NASSER AL HARBI

I was supporting Jamie Ball - but he looked to be behind - I gave Al Harbi all three rounds - he looked a bit too skilful and classy - a talented well rounded fighter! Ball landed some good shots but he didn't do anything convincing and just seemed to be too slow to keep up!

Al Harbi looked to be getting stronger and looked to have more power despite being the smaller of the two fighters!
Great pair of boxers - really enjoyed it - real shame it was stopped due to a cut half way through the fourth round

Relief for all of us Ball fans, he didn't look like he would win if he continued the way he was going!
Finished as a technical draw - Would really like to see the rematch!

Superb atmosphere - first proper show in ages in the Birmingham/Midlands area!

Also - there was a fight for the British Masters Title @ Middleweight
Terry Carruthers and Kevin McCauley - another smashing bout!
Well done T Carruthers who won 97-94

Come on Dave Coldwell - Sort the rematch!

Would defo' go to another Coldwell Show :TU:

Yes boxer John, I had it the same as you, the first round was closer, but Nasser finished the round stronger, then I felt Nasser stepped it up in the next 3 rounds and did hurt Jamie a few times, but all credit to Jamie, he showed a good chin and a lot of heart, his backhand was not too bad either. The Ball camp knew Nasser had the skills, movement and speed, but Thought because Jamie was bigger he would have more strength and power then Nasser, though Nasser did warn them before that he would shock them with how much strength and power he would have on the night. The cut was nothing and stopped bleeding quite quickly, it also was not even running into the eye, Nasser was a bit down over the technical draw, as he wanted to win this fight to go for the English title and the ref had Nasser winning all the rounds to compound it. Great fight and promotion by Coldwell Promotions and the fans of Jamie and Nasser were great, they made it a great atmosphere, it was a great fight fought at a great pace and had everyone at the edge of their seats. We have asked for a rematch, but Jamies camp have refused so far, but if the fans demand it may happen, English title shot awaits the winner, whatever happens it as been a pleasure to work oppersite Jamie, Shaun and their team, real pro,s.

Good interview, quite funny at times, Jane looked like she had been fighting, in the fight Al Harbi dominated at times, won all the rounds, but ball iis a tough kid, with bags of heart, good fight, Brum and the Black country allways produces good fights, the cut was nothing, Doctor and ref a joke for that one..
