Brook and Hatton have put winkgate behind them. An emotional late night call from Brook’s dad Terry Thompson put the issue to bed. He apologised on Kell’s behalf, said it was a cheeky wink to let Ricky know he was in control and revealed that Mrs. Brook was almost moved to tears by Matthew’s bravery. He concluded by saying that, “Matthew can come round to ours for his tea any day of the week.”

Matthew has since stated that he'll be available on Tuesday week.
