An interesting concept, but its all about the packaging. Presented differently, this is just a series of FWP shows without a big name headliner, and those sorts of cards have come in for a lot of stick in recent times.

If they can make people come back time and again, build stories and get people interested in these kids, then it could have legs. Anything that keeps young fighters busy and, crucially, competitive has to be a good thing.

I see Michael Walsh is due for an outing which reminds me, what's up with Liam Walsh? Not seen him since the Appleby fight.

These sorts of cards have come under stick because they haven't had competitive matches on them. If they had some competitive 60-40 or 50-50 matches they wouldn't get the stick they get. If it's just a repackaging then FWP can go **** themsevles if it actually has some solid match ups then I'll be happy to give it the benefit of the doubt.

This smells of an excuse to put bills on that dont include the top boxers , His intention may be to develop the young fighters but to me i cant see it being any different to some of the weak shows that have been screened .

Time will tell , if it means linking up with small hall promotors across the country then i would be moe interested , some of the smaller promotors deserve their time in the spotlight .

People such Dave Caldwell and Steve Wood are the guys who in the future will be some of the main promotors in the country , i can see them on sky in their own right eventually but for now give them the platform to come up with the goods

It was dropped on me an' all and I was booked in at three non-refundable hotels which form a triangle when you join their location dots on the map of London. I feel like a right tool as I was hoping to watch the fights then do a bit of the old occult black magic

This is the same format as fight school that was on sky sports about 5 years ago.

In principle, it sounds good. In practise, I dont expect much. One sided bouts, where you can pick the winner, off the bat, working towards finding Fw@nk his next 'cash cow'. Though I am cynical, like that. Will these fighters 'learn their trade' or simply amass a statistically impressive resume of KO's against 'no hopers'? Time, as always, will tell.

I'm pretty excited about these cards considering what the main events are looking like. Smith-Heffron is excellent and the original intended opener of Conquest-Simmons was equally as good. Shows that these bills aren't just going to be 3-4 boxers in gimme 4 and 6 rounders as was feared earlier on.

Pretty interested in O'Meara v Pryce too, both guys have found an upturn in form recently and the winner of that can easily be in with a Brit title shot soon.

Next couple months on allegedly looks sweet, fair play to them
