I read a biog many years ago about Rocky. He managed his money well but hid it all over the palce as he didn't trust banks. Anyone know much about this? On his death apparently only a small portion of it was ever found.

He hid it in lofts? Houses? Wall cavities?

That was the word, but if you know a little about men who exhibit this kind of behaviour, they are typically looking for more & more elaborate hiding places & are rarely satisfied with existing spots, however exotic or secure.

Dogs sometimes show a similar trait with buried food.

Any idea just how much he squirreled away?

I heard or read somewhere he buried vast amounts of it and his family members did not know the locations, so when he passed he took it with him.

He didn't bury it in his grave, so I'm pretty sure he didn't take it with him.

"managed his money well", right?

I would say managing your money so that it gets distributed in a correct fashion is a large part of managing your money "well".

I was out near Brockton the other day, saw a couple of bills blowing in the wind by the main street......wondered for a moment about their "source".

Perhaps now I know.
