Walter “Popeye” Woods
This guy took some impressive scalps. Lytel, Overlin, Kreiger. Seems like an in and outer of note.
He vanished from the ring in his prime ala Ali. Of course being a fighting Irishmen helps his legacy.

popeye woods was in prison for three years in the mid forties for sex with a underage minor

My knowledge of Walter "Popeye Woods",consists only with Woods and I walking down the steps of Stillman's gym together. I only recall he was BALD headed. Didn't look like a fighter....
