Don't rate Lee at all but fair play to him for taking the fight. Chavez is beatable and I think Lee is technically superior but Chavez will be bigger, stronger and I just feel that he is much more robust. In a world of one champion per division Lee would be an unworthy challenger (based on his record) but then so would many other challengers and Chavez wouldn't be champion anyways!

If Barker had 'earned' a crack at a 160lb title then so has Lee. Seems like a nice lad as well and has clearly dedicated himself wholeheartedly to his career as a pro so good luck to him

Good fight, finally it's come along for Andy.

Not sure how they're styles will mesh as similar in some areas.

Chavez jr has gone from a running joke to a real threat, thanks Alex Ariza.

I don't think Lee is going to do well here. JCCjnr has improved much of late and I just don't think Lee is that good.
Couple that with the huge amount of weight Chavez Jnr puts on after the weigh in, the location of the fight and the fact that his recent competition (which he still gets plenty of stick for) is of a much higher standard to Lee's.

Lee starts okay, maybe spilts the first 4, before he is overwelmed for a late stoppage or a widish points defeat.

Manny is his manager, Lou DiBella has a piece of him as well though as far as I am aware but its mainly Manny.

Lee was holding on for his life in the last round vs belgecham, had a rough time in the last round vs vera (and im not talking about the time he took a hiding and got stopped) and had a very hard time vs mckewan. JCC will come to fight and Lee won't be able to keep it at distance which means he will have a lot of problems here

Lee weighed 170 on the night of the Vera fight, while Chavez usually comes in between 180-185. Lee is a tall middleweight, but he'll likely give up a significant amount of weight.

Besides possessing the superior resume, Chavez fights in an unrelenting manner that has caused Lee many problems. Chavez is also bigger, stronger, and tougher than anyone Lee has faced. I don't, therefore, agree that it would be a toss up on neutral ground.

Chavez really has improved over the years. He has no am career and had to learn his trade in the pro ranks, much like canelo alvarez.

Lee will have a lot of problems vs Chavez and may find himself running for his life as soon as the first couple of rounds.

Chavez is a great fighter but unfortunately there is Alvarez

this fight doesnt seem to have captured much attention in the UK and indeed no broadcaster has even picked it up which is from a personal perspective a little disappointing to be honest.

I'm with you. I think Chavez will win clearly. It should be a good fight, whoever wins.

Bunce tweeted the other day allegedly were trying to get it. Hope they do. Otherwise no pro boxing for 2 weeks.

Fair play to JCCJ, even when he was considered a "joke" by some his wins are not looking too bad now. Molina is now a world ranked Light Middle in his own right.

I thought the draw and narrow win for Chavez was fair.
