I have a friend coming to Liverpool and they want to see some boxing related locations and sights. So far I have thought of the World museum where there is a boxing section, the grave of Jem Mace, maybe the sites of the 2 stadiums. Can anyone think of anywhere else? Thanks.

Can't think of much mate outside the museum, if you're doing it next weekend of course you could take him to the bellew fight.
You could track down earnie shavers, not sure which door he's on but think he still works in town. Go to rotunda abc maybe? Might bump into bellew or the smith bros?
If it was slavery or the beatles he was interested in you'd be quids in mate!

Cheers mate.
I'm sure I read in BN a whie ago that Earnie had moved back to the States. He was a greeter on Yates, last time I was in there about a month ago he wasn't there.
Yeah you're right slavery or the Beatles and we're sorted!!

Lloydy in Kirkby ABC has a ton of nostalgia to share with you, plenty of pro gyms that will be more than accomodating, the opening corridor of Rotunda ABC is a must see.

I was just going to tell the OP to get in contact with Chris Walker (above) - he'll be able to give you a run down with his extensive local knowledge.
