Since Erick's possible "fight of the year" with Nick Quigley a lot of boxing fans, pundits, Have been waiting for his next fight in anticipation. Well it's here. Well not exactly here but on 26th May in Nottingham.
Andrew Lowe has just won the Light Mid British Masters belt to add to the Mid Brit Masters belt he won earlier this year.
This should be an interesting fight with the skills of Ochieng and the strength of Lowe.
What do you think?

I think it's not a good fight, Ochieng is far too good for Lowe, Ochieng could have Fought Nasser Al Harbi for the belt, it would have been a much better fight, but that is boxing for you, when anyone gets a title find easy defences and in the meantime get yourself in a positon for a bigger title shot.

Saf it was just a matter of time before you for you to make your opinion (we are very similar). Yes your right it could be easy but AA Lowe is Hungry and he is a two weight Champion!

There be a few fights but you can't have too much the budget gone on main event. The magnificent 7 bill probably lost money!

The main event is what I bought the ticket for. The undercard needs competitive fights dont need to be big names just 50/50 types. I like Kerry Hope EBU defence on it.

Heard Adnan Amar and Terry Maughan are supposed to be on the undercard - not against each other.

I dont think so. Its because they are both based in Nottingham so one Matchrooms"New Generation Crew" could be fighting them

Come on Mcato, your clutching at straws now, 2 weight champion ? sounds like you are talking about a pound 4 pound king, not someone who has won a couple of british masters titles against fellow journeymen. Ochieng is a very good fighter and as the English champion he should be fighting the best young prospects, to decide who deserves to move up to british level.

Come on Saf it was a joke. As we know you can only fight who is in front of you. Hearns is smart he is putting a few Nottingham fighters on the bill. Liverpool has its time and Sheffield also but now its Nottingham.

True, but not good for boxing though. Like everyone else I was wonderfully entertained when Ochieng won the title, but this one, he will do what he wants, when he wants, how he wants.

Are you getting me back for Nasser Vs Mutley's comments I made? But you gotta remember Lowe is a 2 weight Champion.
