has been missing since Roy Jones jnr, Hopkins,Mclellan,Joppy,Norris in the mid 90s....
Of course we will never see the next SRL, Hagler or Hearns until Black american athletes start going into boxing in greater numbers than they do into baseball, basketball, and track and field.
On these pages I called Eubanks jnr special long before his pro debut based on his work in the gym i saw up close and personal and his youtube street fights, plus of course his fathers wise counsel sending him to work in the USA with mike mccallum.
This kid has it all, the pedigree, the skill and talent and power and speed, and the vicious temprament....u watch he will usurp degale and groves within 2 years.

I was waiting for Terry O'Connor to jump in and gift Eubank Jnr the 'stoppage'.
Listen to him plugging his Twitter, Facebook, Youtube. Do fornicating boxers just want to be celebrities these days? He sounds like an idiot. Christ can you imagine the likes of Jake LaMotta or Marvin Hagler pulling that shit if they were around today? Urgh.
The most impressive aspect of Eubank Jnr is how he switched his super posh boy accent from 'At Home with the Eubanks' to his new rugged street accent. Lol.

I don't see how many conclusions can be drawn after 3 pro fights and a limited amateur career.

I am not too sure about Eubank Jr as it's always hard to judge a fighter so early in his career. He seems to pick his shots quite well and has some speed, but i doubt that he has any real power. The main thing that i have noticed is that he has little or no defence at all. He gets hit really easily and was shipping left hands in this fight. I think a proper judgement call on Eubank will be made when he has had around 15 or so fights.

He took a left hook flush that made me think if that was a decent opponent/puncher how well would he be doing, It's somethibg they need to work on, he can't take them like that at higher levels.
Very true,
He seems at the moment to be just concentrating on getting his punches off and is ignoring, taking or walking through his opponents punches. As you say, one the level increases his defence will have to be built into his fight strategy because he is way too open at the monent and does get hit a lot.

His opponent tonight wasn't a big middleweight. As you say, if he takes one of those from a full-blown 160lb-er he could have problems.
But still, I think he's been quite impressive so far. Fast, pretty accurate with his shots, and enjoyable to watch.

I don't see anything wrong with it. Trying to build up his fanbase is a good idea.

He looked very good exciting fighter on his third pro fight, nice combinations and good speed.

Allison had a good go too credit to him.

Paul Allison is a welterweight, SMH! Credit to Allison though gave it a go despite fighting 2 weight divisions out of his weight class.

I think he looks ok certainly has a good array of shots and is quite exciting. As for the fact his opponent was from a different weight how do you think degale and groves got so many stoppages? They do that with all our prospects. And is he really arrogant or just immature? Only time will tell. he's a decent enough fighter although I do have to agree that the way he took that left hook was suspect but he's a young 3 fight pro who I think will do ok as long as he's handled correctly.
