Just wanted to know peoples thoughts on Maxwell being brought in as a sparring partner? apparently he has a similar style to Petersen.

Bit of a random one that. When you look at Lamont Peterson fighting, Max Maxwell isn't exactly the first person that springs to mind. Great experience for him though if it's true.

Great for Maxwell - poor for Khan.

Khan is also sparring Francisco Santana, Wale Otmoso and Ruslan Prodinkov. It is not as if Max Maxwell is chief sparring partner.

They liked maxs aggression and toughness i think sometimes guys at the higher level dont want every sparring partner to be equally as skilled and at there level they just want a tough bastard who dont stop coming and gives them hard rounds inbetween the sharp slick stuff.

Max is over there for a month and if it goes well they are taking him to vegas for a week for final prep.been happy so far from what im hearing.

BTW they have only mentioned doing a few rounds with Pac when he gets in camp dont get much better for a tough lad from does it

Max has supplied good sparring for Rhodes before.
He's a tough guy.
Don't need to be a name to do a great job sparring.

yeh hes also come up plenty of times for Kel those were hard spars.

Spoke to Max Maxwell and he told me Khan would beat Brook easy as Brook will not be able to live with Khans workrate.
