It's 'legit' as in he boxed under that name but that's not his real name, sadly.

He boxed out of the Ingle gym if I remember correctly.
Fidel Castro Smith's actual name was Fidel Castro, but he boxed under the unlikely name of slugger o'toole.

I've met Chris Bacon and his brother, they are Aussies, his bro used to be on Sons and Daughters. I think he was a top wrestler also, a real good pro, proper hard nut but what a nice bloke.
I think he has done a lot on the unlicensed circuit since and pretty much smashed everyone before him!
I read he was in bother before with one of the Hyland brothers over some money owed with Wayne Rooney's agent, I was pleased to see he got off.

Also did a bit of MMA, which he may do now. Top bloke - came down to rolf harris "tie me kangaroo down sport"....
had a belter of a fight with tony moran on a VIP show in a leisure centre on a sunday afternoon (altringham probably, I forget)
good days.

This gent trained now and then in my Grandfathers garage, fought the great Ted Kid Lewis (4 times!!) ,Mike McTigue and the infamous Young Nipper and was a pall bearer at Peerless Jim Driscolls famously massive funeral in Cardiff
