Thanks Bollocks for telling me the answer, but I need to mention that I came from Thailand. Most Thai men were short and small, but I was 5'10" and I weighed in 167lbs which means I was way bigger than most Thai men.

Kovit,

I admire your quest for information, but have a question for you.

Have you been reading 1980's KO mags?

You appear to be asking a lot of questions about lesser known champs from that era.

Thank you Knockout Artist. Actually I read in another book and when I discovered their records, that was impressive for me. If I asked you about the lesser known fighters for example from the 1950s, they wouldn't know the answer. So I decided to ask you guys the easy one who were almost big from the 1960s to the 1990s. Anyway back to the subject. What kind of fighter is In-Chul Baek like his style?

From what I remember of him he was a robust type of slugger with good power, he fought initially at junior middleweight but had serious trouble making the weight.

He had good wins over contenders like Fred Hutchings but got KO'd by Julian Jackson in a matchup of knockout artists.

He bypassed the middleweight division and went striaght to super middle and had a very good KO win over Fully Obel.

A good contender, exciting style, but just short of world class i feel.

Thanks Knockout Artist and tell you tell me how good is former IBF Super Middleweight champion Lindell Holmes and how tall is he in height? Please find out.

Lindell Holmes is 5'9 and started off as a 154/160lb'der.

Most people in England remember him for his decision loss to Chris Eubank in 1993, but Holmes was about 36 then and way past his best.

IMO, in his prime, Holmes was a much better fighter than Eubank or Benn and holds some excellent wins over good guys like Frank Tate, Lotte Mwale, Murray Sutherland, Sanderline Williams, Roy Gumbs and Buster Drayton.

I can recall him fighting top 160 contender Dwight Davison, but cant remember who won.

He lost by Ko in about 6 or seven round to Herol Graham about 10 years before he lost a 12 round decision to Eubank.

By the way I have Holmes at 5'9".

That says more about Herol Graham than it does about Holmes.

People talk about Calzaghe, Eubank, Benn and Collins. But Herol Graham was in a different league to all of them. They were all scared of him.

I don't know much about Baek to be honest Kovit but he has a good record with a high number of knockouts so must have been a good fighter.
I think I recall he lost to Julian Jackson in a world title fight (at Lightmiddleweight) Jackson was a huge puncher and koed Baek in 3 rds... it'd be interesting to see that fight.
Kovit if you have any questions concerning earlier fighters I'd be interested in looking them up I read a lot about the fighters of the 50s and earlier.
