Most Pro Fights In One Day.

I was looking at the record of Proud Kilimanjaro and he's listed as having three fights on 12/11/1988. I know that in the UK Prizefighter, fighters have 3 fights in one night. Tony Tubbs fought 4 times in one day during the People's Choice One-Night Heavyweight Tournament.

So excluding exhibitions, has anyone fought more than 4 times in one day?

George Foreman fought 5 in one night in Toronto, Alonzo Johnson, Terry Daniels, Jerry Judge, Charley Polite, and Boone Kirkman in 1975 after his defeat to Ali although they are not "official" fights on his record. No judges present but he fought literally one after the other. Polite and Kirkman lasted the distance but were the 4th and 5th opponents so that probably explains it.

Also Lemar Clark fought 6 in one night and they appear on his pro record.

They were exhibitions. I'm after actual pro fights.

Apologies controversial. I knew Foreman's were exhibitions. But I'd forgotten about Lemar.

So the bar is set at 6. Anymore?

Foreman's 5 were set as exhibitions presumably to protect his record in case the project backfired and he lost any of them. But they were real contests with an announced winner, whereas usually exhibitions are semi-contactm with no decision rendered.

Mike Perez fought twice in one night on a bill a few years ago. Granted it might not compare to some of the old timer's, but its interesting to see in this day and age nonetheless.
