I remember reading years ago how this once talented boxer was completely and utterly shot (think it was around when Gomez stopped him in 2 in 2004), yet some disgraceful match-making saw him pitched in with a fighter who was 27-0 last night.
Whoever allowed this bout to go ahead should be banned from the sport.

This isn't anywhere near as shocking as it sounds as Gabor Veto's record is horribly padded. He's hardly a prospect.
But yes, Juuko does need to retire, though who would turn down a shot at the prestigious Global Boxing Union world title?

He's been fed to everyone, cotto etc.

I'm perfectly aware of Veto's 'padding' but my point is that Juuko being allowed in a ring by itself is shocking enough given how badly f**ked he already was 8 years ago. The WTF reference is because it's just the pure cynicism involved in importing him as a 'body-bag that gets me, particuarly given that a prime Juuko would have stood this guy on his head.

its no different to danny williams continually getting in the ring, poor danny was shot years ago too.

What's amazing to me is that Juuko has actually managed to win a few fights over the last few years. He looked as shot as anyone i'd ever seen against Gomez

and the Board said they would investigate , think he was saying he lost enarly 2st just before weigh in

Look at the common theme - the only fights he's won have been in Uganda....

Rhino, where it's different to Williams is that as Mr Payne aludes to, Juuko was displaying very visible signs of being 'punch-drunk' as far back as eight years ago. If Danny carries on the way he is, then unfortunately he too may reach that stage, but he's not there yet to the best of my knowledge.
