His promoter said he'll likely be back in June.

Has anybody heard who his next opponent will be?

I hope he gets back to fighting every month or two.

I'd really like to see him fight McCall or Toney.

Rahman's fighting Povetkin next - the WBA in their wisdom have Rahman as the #1 contender. Crazy stuff.

I'd love to see him fight David Rodriguez, but I don't see that happening.

I'd imagine it'll be someone relatively obscure. Coleman Barrett or Darren Corbett in a title defence.

I'd like to see Fury in with somebody decent like Franklin Lawrence, Mariusz Wach or Carlos Takam.

I 'd like to see him move towards the European title so if he's having another two or three fights in 2012 it would be useful to pit him against an EBU top ten rated contender to put him in line for a crack at the European title in 2013.

Shannon Briggs would be nice.

That would be a good fight, I can see Fury outboxing/outworking Briggs but could just as easily see Briggs
knock Fury into next year. I think Fury has too much though at this stage.

Can't be very far off a Klitch offer given the fighters they've been picking as opponents of late, the fact is he will take the fight for the cash and end up ruining a half decent career.

I'd personally prefer a domestic showdown between him and Price, I think Price is better suited to world level the Fury.

Toney hasn't shown good defensive skills in years and he weighed 273 in his last fight, indicating a lack of motivation. It would be a major step back for Fury to face an obese 43 year old who couldn't win a round against a cruiserweight, received a gift against Danny Batchelder, and apparently had a competitive fight with Bobby Gunn.

McCall is less shot, so he would be more acceptable. He was, however, outclassed by Timor Ibragimov and Cedric Boswell, and hasn't defeated a meaningful opponent in years. Therefore, he would also be a step back given that Fury is world ranked.

Fury should fight a top 25 opponent next; he can still learn against opponents who aren't old, shot, and irrelevant.

They are past their best, no question, but to me they aren't shot quite yet.

That's just semantics. Shot or well past their primes, Toney and McCall are unable to be competitive with decent opponents; the former even struggles with mediocre opposition and couldn't win a round against a cruiserweight contender!
