Pele Reid seems to have dissappeared, anyone know what he is up to? Ok he will never be a world beater but was always good for knockouts and knockdowns.

Might be fun to see him test the chins of Harrison, Skelton, McDermott etc.

Or is Pele staying with the K1 scene?

yes i saw Pele reid on euro sport a couple of months ago, think it was K1

Yes i also saw him on Eurosport K-1 fighting a Belgian guy, me and my mates were betting who would win and they all went for Reid but little did they know about his Boxing past and dodgy chin. Anyway he lost but by splitting his shin from a kick, painful stuff

Pele was a fantastic Lau Gar practisioner before turning his hand to boxing, but his style does not suit the K1 scene particularly well, with its emphasis on powerful leg kicks and knee techniques.

In points and light continuous competition he was virtually unbeatable but there is no money in that game.

He is always value for money and I would like to see him back in western boxing.

pele is entering this weekend British K1 tournament I believe.
