what did you think of Billy Joe Saunders performance at the weekend ?
And what did you think of that stoppage guys ?

Good performance, Good stoppage. He didn't really miss with anything and proved he can finnish people off really well. Referee had no option but to stop the fight. Hope he's out again soon.

Fair stoppage he caught Hill with some solid shots. Did not expect it to end that quickly. Saunders-Blackwell would be a nice match up.

I like to see Saunders-Murray,apart from the Sturm fight Murray hasnt really boxed anyone much above Saunders level,think it would be a cracker...

Perfect stoppage IMO excellent timing by the referee.

Blew Hill away, showcased his power and killer instinct. Distinctive step up in competition needed.

He has surprised me, if I am honest. Not sure how far he goes but vs Hill, it was an impressive performance. Maybe Hill was genuinely suffering weight issues and felt weak in there? Regardless, Saunders landed a few good shots and jumped all over him. Definitely needs to move up the level of opponents now, though. Good luck to the lad.

I thought he was terrific but the shot came so he went in for the kill. Whether Hill was weight drained or not, nothing should be taken away from Saunders. If you do that in your 'toughest fight to date' then hats off to ya son.

Big future in my opinion. Getting better with each fight.

Perfect stoppage, but what else would you expect from Richie Davies, he's definitely one of the best ref's in the world, & we have him here in the UK which is great. Tony Hill was caught cold & was made to pay for it, top marks must go to Billy Joe.

It was a good stoppage. he went in at exactly the right time, for me.

He's a tremendous prospect can't be denied

Can anyone throw any light on who nicked the bell at the end of the show?

If anyone knows its where abouts please get in touch either with the BBBofC, Mike Goodall, or anyone at Frank Warrens office lets be fair its no good to anyone and it is important for these shows.

If it was just a prank OK, please give it back.

That's the funniest thing Ive seen on here for ages. The BBBofC is getting very careless with its ringpiece of late.

I'd say whoever nicked it has probably dismantled it by now in an attempt to discover what made it go off when maccarinelli got decked.

Regarding the loss of the bell if anyone hears anything they can perhaps also give Mike Goodall a ring, afterall it was his bell that got swiped

Thank you JDC, myself I think it was taken for a dare. But these bells are very difficult to come across or replace. Hopefully whoever took it will realize this and return it.
