Just seen that they've launched the channel online starting from Saturday for £10 a month (minimum 3 month subscription). Surely a good thing?

Also, im sure i read somewhere that the normal TV subscription is now a rolling contract as opposed to a minimum of 6 months.....

Personally i'm glad that things seem to be coming together on the channel. Bit gutted that the UK shows seems to be off and on and not as regular as we'd like but cant fault the foreign fights being shown!

Was hoping it would be cheaper than the tv subs but its certainly a step in the right direction.

It's run through Livesport.tv by the looks of it. Their online help mentions flash ( http://www.livesport.tv/help ) so looks like it will be flash based. Bummer! I would jump at it if I could run it on my iPad.

I agree BN is showing improvements on several different levels.
But I don't think they wil ever reach the magic 100K mark of subscribers until they make the channel available online to subscribers outside the UK as well.

Can someone clarify whether the online service is a standalone £10 per month option, or whether it is free if one holds an subscription to the TV channel?

The online subscription is a separate entity to the Tv subscription so it will cost £10 a month regardless of whether you subscribe to the TV channel or not......

Thanks for response. I just wondered whether it would be a sort of equivalent to SkyGo (which is frigging superb). Shame, still a good move from them though.

i think the pixellated on-line version should retail about £7 per month as opposed to the tenner for the sky platform version. then they would get more subscribers, and ill be one of them.

or...bring out the 10 quid bt vision version!

More like £10 per month for either, £12 for both. Double charging sh1t bags. It was all part of my sky sports subs 12 months ago.

Exactly. With sky's reduction in boxing and the promoters going elsewhere, the fragmentation reaches a stage where one might consider not purchasing/cancelling all channels and watching the lot at a friends house. I love boxing and realise such collective action would harm the sport further but at some point I'll want to pull my pants back up. If the people running the game don't care...

my pants are down by my ankles too, there is a big line of us being fcuked up the arse by the media/promotional aspects of the sport we love!!

Might be worth (lots of us) writing to them about this. They say they are listening and this is going to alienate and lose a number of people who'd like to swap between both feeds for convenience but don't want yet another monthly bill on top of the TV one and Sky etc.

Away this weekend so paid the £15 for the online PPV b/c wanted to watch the replays, not working for me at the moment.

edit: sorted now if anyone else has the same issue (black screen),

Right click (ctrl click on Mac) on the streaming screen then click settings. In the box that pops up disable ‘enable hardware acceleration’ by unchecking the box on the first tab then click close. Refresh the screen
