Getting abit confused, hearing so many diffrent rumors, can someone give me a sure answer ? Thanks

Billy Joe Saunders said it was on the bill today. I dunno because Billy Nelson aint said too much about when it is. I would have thought that Warren would have mentioned it today. Wasn't even on the poster.

Not an expert on the topic but believe Burns may still be on foreign soils after goin away to get married.
Id expect it to become formal when he gets back.
As i say, no expert tho so i may be talking shite and he could be in his house. Lol

I will be mildly annoyed as I bought tickets for Haye-Chisora in a fever thinking that Mitchell-burns will be the main undercard event. On closer inspection it seems that Fwank will be keeping this as another payday rather than making it as part of the British fight card of the year. Obviously, I can't wait for the main event (and even Povetkin-Rachman, as wretched a defense as it is, is a fight worth watching as Povetkin isn't all that and I'm sure Rachman will make a fight of it while it lasts) but I shelled out under the impression that the Mitchell-Burns fight was the one that would definitely happen, whereas Haye-Chisora was still up in the air., and will be a bit miffed if this fight doesn't happen on the same night.

This is what will make me (and most fans who have bought tickets) happy:

Haye-Chisora
Mitchell-Burns
Povetkin-Rachman
Groves-Anderson 2
Cleverly-TBA

Warren said on bunce hour there was a wba title povetkin vs rahman and an wbo title on the bill so 1 would persume this is either Burns or Cleverley

It was supposedly being negotiated, but fell through. It'd also be dangerous to have Haye (Millwall fan) and Mitchell (West Ham fan) on the same bill at Upton Park.

It would be a wise move for ANY British boxer NOt to be involved in this promotion !! As I have said in another thread , this has disaster written all over it for British boxing as we know it .
How can the BBB of C not impose sanctions ? This European fair trade claim is utter nonsense . It is about who has jurisdiction over a sport in this country . For instance , if the FA banned John Terry for 6 months could he play in France during this time . Of course not . Why ? Would the FA be taken to court for refusing Terry the right to earn a living ? No , because UEFA and its organisations run professional football in Europe .Whats the difference with boxing .

The Football associations have Government backing wheras boxing doesnt here , and anyway in the instance you just stated YES he would be still allowed to play in france if he was banned by the english fa , different if it was a uefa or fifa ban , the ban otherwise applies to the specific competition , plus it wouldnt be a restriction of earning as he would likely still be getting paid unless it was something that breached his contract , so its completely different to the way boxing is run .

Agree with this, the main event will make it a sell out without Mitchell-Burns being on the bill which will shift enough tickets either up north or down south. I think Cleverly will probably be on there vs. his mandatory, not sure about Groves-Anderson though.

Just rang sports network, they are not confirming any one else except povetkin until next week, I reckon if it's selling really well they wont add Mitchell v burns, if there's a few thousand seats left there add it, it's all about the £ £ £ y

Maybe mr warren dosent want to burn all his bridges with the bbb of c, so won't put anyone else from his stable on the bill, I believe haye/chisora may sell 25 to 30 thousand tickets but Mitchell/burns, Billy Joe Saunders, Frankie Gavin, cleverly and bellew will make it a 40 thousand sell out I'm sure of it !

That would be a sensational bill

i am sure it will be a bill full of foreign (usa and mainland europe) fighters as no BBB of C 'employee' will want to be on this bill, even though there is nothing legal going on, we are victims of being in the EU, FW promoting this show is no different than polish families coming over in their millions and claiming child and housing benefit.......it seems a piss take but we are in the EC, its our own fault!!
