Does Sexton actually have a realistic chance here? I would think not. Thoughts?

Thats what I figured. Same charade as Fury vs Rogan. Time to step away from the domestic level for both.

I don't think it's surprising, it's for the British title. Fury vacated, Chisora doesn't hold a British licence, Towers is fighting for the EU title. I would say Sexton is next in line for the shot.

Price has only just got to domestic level. If he beats Sexton then he should stay at this level and defend his title against the likes of Sprott, Skelton, Harrison and Rogan.

If Price blows Sexton away, would you like to see those others fights?

He could take something away from fighting sprott and skelton in terms of experience but he would destroy rogan and harrison in my view , sprott and skelton could teach him a few tricks , sprott especially .

If Sprott came in at a good weight and motivated he could. Unfortunately that isn't always the case and I dunno if he would come in like that for a fight with Price who he doesn't have any real beef with.

Price wins easily, next fight Skelton before the August break, Price needs to be kept busy.

I do think Sexton has a shout against Price, but he has to move away from his flat footed, plodding style and inject some vigour into his approach. This is a problem for Sam because it will put a further strain on his suspect stamina, but if he does this I think he has a good chance of unravelling Price.

Sexton coped well with Larry O's rushes, but Prices height and power present a tougher proposition so Sam cannot stay flat footed and become an easy target.

Yes, Price doesn't have much experience at this level. He should spend the next 12 months or so picking up some solid domestic wins and win the Lonsdale belt outright.

He's going to get blown away if you ask me. Price hits too hard.

Sam's a good domestic level boxer and with better stamina maybe even Euro level, but Price is a future World Champ in my opinion.

Price KO 2.

Price is going to blow away anyone at domestic level right now i think, Fury included. They should be keeping him active to get him some rounds, before moving him on. There's a danger that if they make a jump up in class without enough fights/rounds, Price could come unstuck,

Skelton is durable and experienced, but he's bloody old and it could be quite a nasty affair watching him getting mauled by Price. I'm not sure it would be a good move for Skelton at this stage of his career to be put in with someone blessed with pretty phenomenal one shot power.

There's not a lot around domestically for Price, I personally think he would destroy Fury, who is hardly a defensive genius, and is technically poor - the one thing fury has going for him, his size, would not be a factor here, and that would spell disaster for him.

I doubt a fight with Price and Fury will happen,at least not now, and i suspect that Fury will get found out if he steps up in class, his lack of boxing skills will only allow him to get so far, and I don't think he is much of an athlete really.

I can see this fight lasting alot longer than what most are saying, after Prices last fight i can't see Sexton trying to take the fight to Price, his best bet is taking Price to the later rounds and hoping he gasses ( i no Sexton has his own stamina issues) my prediction is Price ko round 9
