Had no idea she was on the Celebrity Apprentice.
What is she doing on the show? Has she stopped boxing?

Perhaps when her relationship with Lovemore ended so did her boxing career?'Frilla wrote:Had no idea she was on the Celebrity Apprentice.![]()

What if the clown that runs it gives the money to charity without inflicting would be if they could be types on the public in the guise of entertainment? Free to air TV is bad enough without this sort of imported bilge.colin russell wrote:Your so negative Brutethe moneys gained by the Celebritys all goed to charities.
Is Prisoner coming back?Giancarlo wrote:I think Brute is worried it might get in the way of a return of Prisoner.
It is on one of the cable channels. I never watched it anyway. The premise of the Apprentice, like all so called "reality" TV is imported from the USA or UK and altered only by using local semi-nobodies.TrainInsane wrote:Is Prisoner coming back?Giancarlo wrote:I think Brute is worried it might get in the way of a return of Prisoner.
Skippy is still getting a run in various parts of the world and sadly some of the actors aren't getting any residuals. Same applies to some of the main characters of the Prisoner cast.Brute wrote:It is on one of the cable channels. I never watched it anyway. I am annoyed this garbage is on every week but the fights are only televised once a month, if you are lucky.
One of the main characters in Prisoner, I think Bea, was smart enough to sign a residual entitlement contract. She still gets cheques. While the rest of them don't get a razoo. Same thing with Skippy. The show is still playing around the world making money, and Ken James who was one of the main characters, doesn't get a cracker.Brute wrote:australian actors took court action decades back to get residuals for TV series but the court refused it.
American actors even get residuals for commercials. To get a split of the percentage here you have to have a contract with the producers to that effect.
Some friends of mine have done work as extras on TV shows. They usually got paid less than postmen.
If people are desperate for work they don't look at the fine print. Established actors can negotiate a good deal, if you are just starting out it is a "take it or leave it" business.colin russell wrote:Well who fault is that.

The WBF will let any scrub fight for a belt. The other fighter will probably be even worse than Eagle.#1 BoXa wrote:Anyway let's get back to Lauren eagle she's had 2 wins 2 losses and I'd fighting for the wbf title 10x 2 minute rounds when she's only gone 4x2 's in her previouse four fights.. How does that work??
Exactly. It sounds like Val (who played Bea) got good advice from her management all those years ago and it's paying for itself over and over again. Where as the rest of the cast were happy to just get paid per episode they made.Brute wrote:If people are desperate for work they don't look at the fine print. Coming off 2 losses and hasn't fought for a year. How does that work#1 BoXa wrote:Anyway let's get back to Lauren eagle she's had 2 wins 2 losses and I'd fighting for the wbf title 10x 2 minute rounds when she's only gone 4x2 's in her previouse four fights.. How does that work??
