Henry Cooper and his cuts.

Former British Heavyweight Champion Henry Cooper finished his ring career with a log of- Won 40 (KOs 27) Lost 14.

Now my question is this, Over the years I've read and heard many Boxing fans and sports fans say how Coopers career was hampered by cuts and and how he was a terrible 'bleeder'.

Is this a myth? Does this opinion just come from his two loses to Ali which were stopped due to Coopers cuts as we all know. Many of his 14 loses were on points, I believe his loses to Patterson and Johansson were by KO not by cuts. In fact I'm sure that he BEAT Billy Walker on a cut.

Does anyone know how many times other than the Ali fights Cooper was stopped due to his cuts, or even when cuts were a factor towards him losing on point?

In his autobiography Henry says that he only lost four fights on cuts: Ali twice, Peter Bates and Uber Bacilieri.
The losses to Johansson, Follery, Patterson and Bygraves vere real knock outs.
