Does anyone remember Jones stopping hopkins

jones boxed his ears off but i don't recall any stoppage

i can't even remember hopkins being hurt in the fight.

The BBC are a fornicating joke.
To be fair Jones didnt box Hopkins ears off, it was reasonably close, I recall making it 7-4 Jones with one round even.
Its all about opinions though.

Lets hope Hopkins makes his swansong appearence by putting a stone on and correcting the matter.

Yeah i agree it wasnt an ear boxing as they say, Hopkins rallied late and definately won a few rounds, he did better than Toney did anyway.

i scored the fight 10 rds to 2

actually i may even have had it 11 rds to 1 but no no i'm pretty sure i scored it 10 rds to 2
jones was a clear winner in my book and i thought 8 rds to 4 was well to close.

i wasn't the only one who thought the judges had it a bit close even reg and jim doing commentary thought it was wider than 116-112
