From the 2nd to the 5th of June, my sister and I will be walking from Winchester to Eastbourne, that's 100 miles, along the South Downs, to raise money for an orphanage in Kenya.
Anyone who wants to donate can use the link below, and any messages of support will of course be welcome. And if you live near it, can we kip on your settee for a night?

Got back yesterday about 5pm. Absolutely knackered. From Winchester to Eastbourne, via Exton, Buriton, Steyning, Brighton, Piddinghoe, Seaford. Tried to stick to the South Downs Way as far as possible, but on day 3 we ended up walking the coast from Shoreham to Newhaven. Day four we took the lower loop of the South Downs Way, taking in Beachy Head.

If I'd have walked as far as you I'd have jumped off

I remember when palooka was taking a stroll along a narrow cliffside path on the coast when he encountered a naked woman approaching in the opposite direction. Palooka stopped and said to the young lady " I don't want to block your way so, if you don't mind, I'll toss myself off instead."
