Just cannot see it happening. Think price may even take him inside 3. I took odds of 4/9 on price stopping him.

Want to see price hit on the chin, temple and under the rib cage hard to see if he can really take a punch, I also want to see him roughed up and taken a hard 12 rounds, unfortunately I don't think sexton is the man to do it !

No. Sexton looked worn out both times against Del boy and was there for the taking against Rogan. Price will be hitting him harder, more often than the pair of them.

No chance. I can see Price making a statement and stopping Sexton very early.

The only upset would be Sexton lasting past the halfway stage.

Price's chin looks like it might be a touch fragile, and its heavyweight, so def worth a punt. Early or late

If Sexton can take the first punches...we'll see, but i can't see. At British lñevel at the moment i think Price is the best heavyweight, euro level is another thing.

I would love to see Sexton win this. His head seems to be in the right place these days and he is doing the work in the gym. Just wonder if ring rust could be the issue.
Pricey is a talent and we all know he can bang, but as they say anything can happen. All I know is that this will be his toughest test.
Ps Frank seems to be hedging his bets and not backing Price 100% in the press.

I think Sexton's power is underrated. He hits harder than given credit for but it does seem Price has more ambition, at this stage of their respective careers. The 'safe' bet is to go with Price, but I can see Sexton giving him some trouble.

I think the key (for sexton) is what game plan he is coming in with. I think half the problem with the Chisora fights is that he tried to win every round.
Personally I'd rather see him box cautiously and take Price into the later rounds, as the fact remains we have no idea if Price has stamina. A 6 round jabbing of Shrek and a 7 round domination of a tiny journeyman dont prove it that's for sure (btw, crap stoppage).
For me Price puts a lot into his work, every shot seems to take an effort, and I think there is a very viable case for thinking he'll be vunerable late on.
Question is, can Sexton take him there? He's 33/1 for rds 9-12 and I'll risk a cursory few bob

Surely worth a tenner indeed, cheers.

That'll surely be to just sell some tickets.

Afraid not. Early stoppage for me. Sexton isn't the most sturdy himself.

I'm obviously going for a Price KO as well.
Anyone else notice how much Price drops his left when he throws the right? Do you reckon it could cause him problems when he steps up in competition?

Stylistically, I think Price is all wrong for Sexton. Sam likes to be the boxer on the outside but won't be able to do this against Price as the latter will have him on the end of his jab. I can see Price stopping him early on with a big straight right hand.

Suspect Sexton will be very patient and stay outside for as long as he needs to before even attempting to work his way in. He does have decent movement for a heavyweight, and it'll be interesting to see how Price copes with it, given some of the plodders he's faced as a pro so far.
I notice that Sexton weighed in a stone (14lbs) lighter than he did for the loss to Chisora, so I reckon he genuinely fancies this one.
McDermott left himself open, but was catching Price clean with several light shots before being bowled over. Sexton has one of the best jabs domestically IMO, so provided he picks his openings, he may have some success.
But... after all that is said, If Price lands clean at any time with that straight right... then that will be it.

Just looking at the odds, can get 16/1 for a 1 round KO for Price, got to be worth a tenner. 14/1 for Ko in 2.
And 100/1 for Sexton in round 1
