Frazier-Quarry 1, round 1, is my nominee.

Round 10 of Bowe-Holyfield I was better, IMO.

There were two or three rounds in Bowe-Golota II which were knockdown-free and just AMAZING, too.

I like the Quarry Frazier nomination....however as bad intentioned as it was on behalf of both fighters, no one seemed ready to go down. So though it is great, it lacks the drama of someone nearly faltering.

But it is generally women that require drama as an ingredient of that which has import.

My machismo eye is not fooled into thinking that "lack of near faltering" should be held against anyone for that round.

Morales MAB 1 round five....is probably one of few equals. But with less bull on the hoof, I can't find it to be quite the equal of the HW round mentioned.

That's like that Heavyweight round on steroids.

Holyfield/Dokes round eight was as great as Frazier/Quarry.

Holyfield/Foreman round 7.

Gomez - Pintor round 3

Holmes - Witherspoon round 9

It's obviously Dempsey - Firpo - Round 1.

Hagler -v- Hearns - Round 1.
