Good interview. I've seen him box a few times at Newport leisure centre and was always impressed. Hope he continues to improve and work hard as he seems to have the talent.

If Smith has gone up in weight and simpson possibly retired he wont have much competition for the Lonsdale belt apart from Joe Murray. Whom i think he would beat.

Martin Lindsay might have something to say about that.

Is Martin Lindsay still down as a featherweight? He would give him a good test.

Smith has not moved up to super feather,it was just easier for him to get fights he fully intends on going back down to fight selby again

I havn't heard otherwise. His first few fights back have been a bit over the featherweight limit, but he always fights a few pounds over when it's not a championship fight. He has had two comeback fights now since the Simpson defeat so will be looking to get himself back into title contention soon, I'd say. Lindsay's style would give Selby a few problems.

I agree with you Deno, you beat me to it in throwing Lindsays name into the ring to fight Selby. One poor performance and people seemed to have forgotten all about him.

I did like the look of Rhys Roberts, I wouldn't write him off yet.

Any chance Appleby would make Feather?

Off course there is Choi in a non British title fight. Would love to see that one.
