It wasn't originally, Showtime passed on it. It's being shown on Epix in North America.

thers not much going on in the US or mexico that night biggest fight is a jesus soto karacas fight, so i would be surprised if showtime arn't showing in in the US esspecially as Bute and Froch are 2 populars fighters on the network

Showtime aren't showing the fight. As mentioned above, the fight is on EPIX.

The reason the fight is on late is because it is on pay-per-view on Canada.

It makes me laugh that if it was ppv here they still show it on north american time if thereis a tv deal in place.

I heard it had been pushed back as Carl Froch is a huge fan of the Eurovision and was rooting for the "Buranovo Grannies" from Russia and is refusing to walk till he's seen the result.
