Just to let everyone no , am away again back in Scotland training is going superb really enjoying being back with Danny vaughan , and also learning so much of paul weir , haven been on here for a while just thought I'd let you all no am doin well and come fight night il be in tip top condition , as you lot seen in the crolla fight I seem to be a different fighter under Danny Vaughan and feel back to my best , he gets me better sparring and training is alot harder , and am still learning :) also thanks for support haw had recently ,

Mate you've always been Class from back in the Am's to now. Remember sparring at crystal palace with you and i think his name was Homes?? Being a few year older then you thinking Shit this fella is Good....
think a few that wrote you off has changed there mind and can see there's still more left in the Tank....

Cheers martin his name was fred homes he was a good pal of mine and passed away a few months after I beat him in senior aba final , I still remeber are spars mate and the great show we was on england v america at the hilton some big names on the show , always remeber ste burke beat paulie malanagi 11 1

Derry Matthews deserves everything he gets out of boxing . He never gave up , was always willing to learn and believed in himself . I had a tear in my eye when he won the title . Well done ,son .

That show was great, going on his Am days I thought he'd win the Prize Fighter....

Sad News about Fed, he was a very good boxer...

(Well done v Crolla, Derry. You really turned the applecart over there; the lightweight division at British level is pretty brutal in its competiveness, there are any number of great match ups. Best of luck with it; you've turned things round; it must be very satisfying).
