Reality TV boxing!

Apparently Sylvester Stallone and the producer of "Suvivor" are going to make some kind of reality TV boxing show - in which young stars are will battle it out for an lucrative proffesional contract and a prime opportunity to make a name for himself.
The deal seems to be sealed as they have announced that the show will last for 16 weeks, it will have nothing to do with the "Rocky£ francise, because all rights to the character are owned by MGM.
Any thoughts on this? Personally, I think it was inevitable but could do more harm than good to the youngsters career - obviously, I assume these guys will have some talent and may make it without the aid of a TV show - whislt it will make them alot of money, cause their shows will sell out. I can't help thinking that the TV's will manupulate them and take most of their money (like they do in Pop Idol).
The pressure will be absolutely unbearable, possibly more than any Olympic champion has faced (if the show is successful). It could mentally break the precousious young talent that wins it.
I'd probably tune in though.
