He won't be the last!

Good luck to both. It looks like a perfect fit. I just wish Curtis had got that shot at Theophane.

Wouldn't mind him getting a shot at McCloskey tbh if he can do the business against Miles. :OhYes:

Another good signing for Dave, building a nice little stable of fighters.

delighted to have signed with dave, im really excited about the future, got a big job next week but if i can come through that 1 there are some great options out there for me, when my granny who is 87 was having periods more often than fwank was getting me fights i knew it was time to move on and dave is very ambitious and thats what i want to be a part of :box:

Hardly exciting news a journeyman signing up with a promoter is it?

Journeyman must be the most misused term in boxing.

I think the term journeyman should shake the negative connotation it has developed in boxing circles. In any other trade it denotes a person who is experienced and competent but unexceptional. I don't see what's wrong with that.
That's the literal meaning, but I always thought in boxing it applied to someone who made their living as 'the opponent'. I guess it would be more accurate to apply it to the sort of guys you get called gate keepers.

Carry on like that Cockney, and I will be divulging your name address and mobile number to Curt.
........ ps by the way he doesn't mean it just likes being controversial and getting people going. :TU:

I had previously guessed that Cockneygymrat was Hertfordshire based!
I wonder whether he would be willing to comment on fighters not getting paid?

If its not a problem shall I let my new promoter know your feelings on his new signing? I'm sure he would love to know who you are, I think he would be shocked to say the least

No it isn't andy, I've always liked andy and dean, can't comment on fwank I've only spoke to him once, at least andy or dean would tell you to your face what they thought, this big fat mess hasn't the minerals for that hed rather do it behind a keyboard under a false name but I know who he is and we mix in the same company so he's put himself in a sticky situation but surley he would have no problem saying the same stuff to a crapp
y journeymans face?

How is he a journeyman then? Get some respect, have u fought at a high level yourself?
And the post was informing people about him signing, if it doesn't interest u why bother posting?
