Both Brian Rose and Kris Carslaw weighed in slightly under the Championship weight today for their British Light-Middleweight Title fight. The fight is the main event on a packed night of action from the Bowlers Exhibition Centre, in Manchester.

Tickets priced at £35.00 general and £70.00 ringside are still available for purchase on the door.

Carl Johansson weighed in at 9st 8lb for his proposed Commonwealth Eliminator with Chris Goodwin. Unfortunately, Goodwin pulled out of the contest an hour before the weigh in, a search is now on for an opponent for Carl …..

Rick Goddins has agreed to move up from a 6 to an 8 round contest with James Flynn.

The 11 fight show will start at 6.15pm with Josh Warrington followed by Jack Arnfield and Danny Price. Updates of all the fights will also be posted on our twitter feed http://twitter.com/vipboxing

Chris was taken to hospital this morning by ambulance after collapsing, turned out to be a kidney infection which only reared its head when the water was cut down over the last 48 hours. We only got the final word from the docs shortly after 12 and swiftly made Steve Woods aware.

We would again like to apologise to Steve, Frank and of course to Carl who will have trained as hard as Chris and we hope to get the fight on soon.

Id be the first to comment on a fighter pulling out an hour before the weigh in but it is just one of those situations which cant be helped. Hes been doing check weights and has been in around 9'9 for weeks so it wasnt poor planning.

Apologies to anyone involved.

the hall situation was ridiculous, the kid he was supposed to fight lost the week before due to injury so he cant fight for a month. why didnt maloney get another one in?
