What gives with the headphones and mics they use? I know that it must be expensive to set up a TV station but that's no reason to buy some Russian cosmonaut kit from the the 80s on ebay!!!

I know and he's been an actor for almost thirty years, he can't have had much dialogue to remember

How hard can it be for a veteran actor of 30 years to remember the names,records and home towns of two boxers and the names of the ref and judges.

On a similar note, it always amazes me in boxing how many inconsistencies there are when presenting a fighters record (and I don't mean unheard of African visitors), either on screen or via the mc. So many times the KO or win record is incorrect. How hard can it be to get the right information and communicate it?

hahaha yer according to the bald guy last nite Billy Joe had 13 wins with 19 KO's and no losses.Just another piss poor display,it really does need sorting out.

that Ronal McDonald has to be one of the worse 'presenters' on any TV channel, Babestation included. He speaks like he has had to undergo a tongue transplant but the only available match was a blue whale.......

It all gets a bit confusing for him beyond 'Kev, Bev, Kev, Bev'.

Nice bloke but not cut out for it.

I didn't see him on Friday, but generally I think he has improved slightly over the years - but I much prefer Mike Goodhall still.

When Mario Macrinelli passed away, FW used Mike Goodhall to do the speech and the ten tolls, but used "Kev, Bev" to call in the fighters and do the MC'ing.

Not a fan of Goodall. John McDonald still the man in the UK but the Scottish guy Craig Stephen seems to be a regular on Sky now and is very clear and relaxed, doesn't seem to read much off the cards.

The Jock MC is absolutely first rate. Seems a nice chap too.

Have to agree: he's clear, accurate, concise, and efficient. What more can you ask for?

Aren't they usually tied into promoters? I think the Scottish guy is usually on Maloney cards and the guy who does the "best ringside seat in the house" thing whose name I can't remember, he is Matchroom. The one who did Froch/Bute.

KevBev is such a bad MC it's funny.

How he has still not grasped, or been told how to correctly read scorecards so you don't give away who has won is beyond me. Every single time if the challenger has won he'll read the cards like "112-116, 111-117"...etc. Completely ruins it if it's been a close fight.
