Course I would, the toe has made his bed and his career will always be remembered/defined for that pathetic excuse when he couldnt hack it with the elite Heavyweights.

I do expect him to beat Chisora but he'll never beat the Klitschko's and thus its a timeless classic just like that allegedly pic!

At the risk of going over old ground, I'll just make a few quick points:

1) Look at Haye's movement around the ring in that fight - in no way comparable to your (undoubtedly painful!) experience. I can't recall a single person during the fight (commentators, round-by-round threads etc) noticing a single thing amiss with Haye's mobility, which surely tells a story.

2) In the wake of the fight on the forum, the likes of Rhino, who has very strong medical experience, cast extreme doubt on many aspects of Haye's claims, such as the painkiller supposedly wearing off prematurely.

3) Even in Hayemaker, Elliott's biography of Haye, which inevitably has a pro-Haye stance, there isn't a compelling case made for the toe injury being that big an impediment to Haye's performance.

2. My best friend is a consultant orthopedic surgeon and he said it was possible that it could well have worn off.
3. One thing that no one seems to mention is how it effected him mentally once he broke it, then in the build up and then in the fight itself. I am convinced that Haye's confidence regarding the fight will have been effected. Imagine you are preparing for the biggest fight of your life and then you broke your toe - it is not going to improve your confidence is it?

Yep, fair points fella. In regards to the final one, did he actually break it in the build-up? As I said, I read 'Hayemaker' and while I can't remember everything, it didn't seem to be a big factor in the build-up.
