This fight would have been a lot more exciting had Pieter not been stopped by a hard punching Jouneymen in his last fight, however given the styles this fight is certainly very interesting and a must see. It's very interesting as to how this fight pan's out, i personally think it will end before the scheduled distance and it's not beyond belief that Cronje's hand will be raised.

Personally i think given Pitt's arsenal of punch's that he stop's Cronje around the 6th round, but I'm not confident as despite his recent loss Cronje packs a very solid punch.

On the same card, Banging Ben takes on all or nothing punching machine Shane Tilyard. I can't wait to see how this turns out, money's on Ben, but Tilyard hit's freaken hard, only 1 fight in his career has gone the distance.

Thoughts on how these fights will turn out?

Pieter's loss may be a blessing to him, he wasnt fit enough and payed for it.

He is not very consistent. He is the only fighter poor old Anton Nel beat since 2004!

I really like this fight. Peter will be pumped for it, and Brad has shown he can be hit.
As long as it lasts it should be entertaining.

Flemington Melbourne, it's a long way away being in late August, which gives both fighters a lot of time to prep.

Really can't wait to see how this turns out, good win for either fighter, and a winnable fight for either fighter.

Melbourne in August is a cold hole. My wife always wanted to go down there in August for her father's birthday.

I heard fox limit the amount of rounds their FNF shows are cheduled for. If the top 5 were to be telecast it would be a possible 54 rounds (dont think its going that long though).

Has great promise this fight. Pitt copped some sh1t over his last performance and should be keen to impress.

Pitt beat Casey comfortabley, if anyone is "keen to impress" after a shocker, its Cronje.

I thought Pitt won easy but wasnt his best, he seemed to gas out early from a lot of power punches missing..needs to set his punches up against cronje instead of trying to knock him out with every punch..

What a card that looks like it's going to be, a long way away, however what a line up.

Tomlinson defending his version of a world championship, Caperello, Jnr and the young gun Ritchie. Plus the 2 fights already mentioned, what a card. Fox please.

i think cronje puts pitt into fairy land.

but if cronje wants to trade, he will have to respect pitts power. pitt is a solid bugger.

Promises to be a stern test for Pitt. But I think he can get over the line.

Cronje, can be knocked out that has been proven, and i think this is likely again in this fight, however Pitt when hit by a puncher looked vulnerable in 1 of his fights. Either way a great fight and card.

I'm leaning towards Pitt, but i'm keeping my money in my wallet.

Cronje is coming off a TKO loss to 41 year old Sorovi whose record is hardly flash. I think Pitt will be too good for him.

If Cronje tries to box with Brad, he will end up on the canvas like Ammann.
