I've just watched it now, and one I'm not sure what all the 'hullabaloo' is about, and two Lederman's card was pissing me right off when it was popping up giving every round to Pac. Really not sure what fight he was watching.

I had it a draw, don't mind being in the minority. With no sound, ignoring Lederman and HBO's dodgy 'punch stats' (made up off the top of someones head), generally what I saw was lots of wild flurries, mostly missing, from Pac and some pretty neat boxing from Bradley.

Honestly, as daft as this sounds in the middle of all the aftermath that's going on, Bradley rarely looked troubled or out of control to me. Pac won some rounds, but neither guy really hurt the other. I can imagine HBO's cheerleading though when Pac was flurrying away at Bradley's gloves.

There's a lot of talk about anyone who had it for Bradley doesn't know boxing etc. To me, anyone who had it like Lederman (11-1), doesn't know wtf they're watching. That card is bollox.

So anyway, if you haven't watched it on mute try it and see if it changes your opinion?

ps. very impressed with Bradley, would pick him over Khan in a heartbeat.

pacquaio beat the shit out of him. i thought bradley would be hell of a tough test, but it was obvious that we were watching 2 fighters in compeltely different leagues. By round 7 it was clear he didnt even have a punchers chance and he was on his bike by the 10th.

The commentary was lousy and the fight was much closer than this so called robbery.

Bradley didn't have a scratch on him.

Problem with watching it on mute is that, while you switch off the commentary, you get no idea of the power or impact of the punches. The fact that Bradley hurt his ankle shows that he can't have been landing with power, he was outlanded by about 100 punches and Pacquiao hurt him in at least 3 rounds. Bradley never bothered Pacquiao once.
Also, I take it you watched it on a small computer screen as you talk about HBO's coverage, which again doesn't really give a feel of the fight.

you can see when someone's hurt mate, in many cases the sound is misleading in fact. when big slapping shots land they can sound like real humdingers, but they hurt much less than a sneaky inside dig under the ribs.

Very true.

You would definitely be better off scoring the fight with the sound off. In fact, next time I score a noisy one, I'm gonna listen to some Stockhausen on headphones.

I was going to watch it with the sound off but having watched it twice already I don't think I will now.
Having seen it the second time around I do think it was closer than I originally thought but I still think Pac got it.

Agreed mate.
I had volume right down when I watched it because the sound quality was pretty bad.
At no point did either guy look to have the other in serious trouble. And it was a rather boring fight.

I watch every fight w/o sound; I thought Pacquiao won by several rounds.

I personally can't watch boxing without sound, but no commentary will ever sway me.

I've watched it live, without sound (English), with sound (American) and I scored it pretty much the same each time (Manny by 1-2 rounds) but the American commentary was amongst the worst and most biased I've ever heard. The "pac worship" was unbelievable.
