we have had mention of the undercard but not in much depth to be honest, each fighter is obviously represented by their managers and trainers and promoters. the branches of the tree grow and grow if the BBB of C suspend licences of all involved in this 'bill'.

how many trainers/managers and promoters are already involved?

will the majority of trainers/managers stand back from letting their fighters get involved in this bill just to see what happens? then if it seems all above board and the BBB of C do not 'suspend' people then it will open the floodgates next time. This to me seems the correct stance to take.

personally, as the fight draws nearer, i cant see that the BBB of C have a leg to stand on. They should eat some humble pie and state that, although they are not sactioning the show they do realise its crept through a legal loophole and the issues will be addressed after the bill to ensure british boxing is not put in this position again.

We've given enough to Europe, but I agree with the rest of what you say. It seems the European boards are willing to work together from now on. We don't need to give away our own boards individual sovereignty... we just need them all to be supportive of each other (whilst reserving the right to domestically veto).

Your proposition is right, this may very well be the correct stance.

The precedent has already been set by no less a person than Mr. Dean Powell who has years of experience in the sport and is very closely connected with Bunny.

As has already been posted on this or another forum, Dean made it very clear to all the boxers who were summoned to the recent FWP meeting to drum up an undercard for the Haye - Chisora fight that, he would not be acting as cornerman, manager or trainer to any boxer at Upton Park. He also made it clear that he would not even be wrapping any boxer's hands, albeit out of sight in the dressing rooms.

What message this sends to others who may be willing to take the risk of losing their licence/s is a matter for each individual to determine.

However, given Dean's undeniable knowledge of the sport and the workings of the Board, if I had to make a choice I know what it would be, given his example.
