Congratulations to Carlos, it is Neil Haddock, after he outscored Steve Robinson over 10 rounds in May 1992. A fight later, Haddock was British super-featherweight champion, courtesy of a six-round stoppage of Michael Armstrong, while Robinson was WBO featherweight champion within a year.

Thanks Ian and Bennie. I was going to put Nigel Haddock and then I remembered that it was Neil who actually won the British title. I don't know if Nigel and Neil were twins. I remember one of them was in the army - the Royal Corps of Transport - and they were both pro around the same time. This was during the time when not one fighter could keep the title - losing it on their first defence.

Thats right , Neil Haddock was the guy that broke the 'jinx' by beating Steve Walker in his first defense.
