The current resident Mr Boxing is fast becoming yesterdays man his column is awful and is such a waste . IMO

Who replaces him? or will they close the door when they realise he has had his day.

Not if reading the program notes from Saturday are anything to go by.

John Conteh, not sure if he does any writing but if his after dinner speaking is anything to go by he'd be very good at it but not for the Sun all things considered.

When you say "Mr Boxing" - could you please clarify for those of us who don't know.....

All I know is, if they still have Pat Sheehan there, they'd be better off having NO-ONE doing anything....... nothing personal, never met him, but his writing has been drivel-based and factually inaccurate for years.

Anyone on here could do a better job of it with more enthusiasm to boot!

I'll have a go.

It'd be called 'James Wilson, pulling no punches' hahahahaha I know, I crack myself up sometimes.

And just to clarify for legal reasons, that isn't a reference to me trying to molest the character 'punch' from punch and judy. I'm not gonna end up banged up for abusing a puppet.

Hmmmm, who could produce a sports column worthy of the lofty journalistic standards of The Sun?

I'm guessing two or three chimpanzees with typewriters.

Mr F W ar ren

I know its a shite paper but it does have a MASSIVE circulation and the only people who get written about are either ones he is promoting or has a beef with its not doing anything to clue up casual fans or give any sort of insight into the goings on .This platform
could be used loads better.

Jane Couch .....Anyone ??

Guy called Chris Roberts does boxing pieces for the Daily Record and he makes so many mistakes. It appears to be lazy journalism.

Eubank/Conteh - they don't follow the sport today.

Froch - probably doesn't follow the sport intently, plus is deluded and dishonest.

Hatton would be OK.

Froch is dishonest but Hatton is ok because chucking a load of toot up your nose is the done thing!

Maybe you could write it?

Would be great if they got someone on here like Ben Carey, Ian Mc or Dooley.

That would be a very sensible move.

Therefore they wont go down that road
