It appears to me that he was one of the very best middleweights during the mid 90's. What were his his strengths and weaknesses? how do you think he'd have fared against Bernard Hopkins? I never saw his name mentioned in the context of middleweight greatness, but I see all sorts of contenders from much lesser known and documented eras mentioned and missed. It must be like he gets less respect than he deserves, isn't it?

you must go on youtube my friend to see some of his fights and get a general idea of what people thought of him.
My 2 pennies worth you ask for ? Bradley and MW's of his general era werenot as good as what had come just before them (whether thats the 7-8 guys in the post Hagler-SRL shakeup or the Toney/Jones Jnr/Mclellan/Jackson era. Bradley and guys like Joppy and Holmes represented the last half decent era for black american middleweights....these days the MW division isnt what it once was and thats why guys like martinez, Pirog,Lee,Macklin,Barker and Sturm and the rest do what they do here and you notice none of them are black americans.

Bradley was half decent, he had good speed but suffered from not really beating anyone of any note. He was involved in some pretty ordinary title fights. He didn't have the greatest chin either and was content to be a bit safety first.
He fought Lonnie Beasley, who had stopped Charles Brewer in a round.
I was always a bit meh about him.

I thought he was going to be the next great middle when I first saw him on tv. Think he had eye problems that slowd his progress.

He got a lot of magazine coverage in the mid-90s but ultimately only wanted to compete for the very lowly regarded WBO title, boxed nobody of note then was out of action for years with a detached retina. When he finally came back he was shot and was stopped by a journeyman.
But to answer your question people were interested in what he might do in the mid 90s, but ultimately he did nothing.
