I thought Kevin Johnson looked terrible last night. Lazy , slow and uninterested. Tyson Fury needs to step up his opposition..so what happens if these 2 fight.

Could Johnsons lazy style play into Furys hands??. Johnson would be the biggest name on Furys record other than Chisora.

Timing is everything in this sport. Going on last nights fight i think Fury wins although the format last night did not suit Johnson.

50-50 fight depends how motivated Johnson is

Fit and focused Fury beats him i say

Was impressed with Fury last time ( agaisnt a faded Rogan all the same )

There are much better fights for Fury. I don't see the point in Fury fighting Johnson after he lowered his stock by looking like garbage in Prizefighter.

I think Fury would beat him fairly easily.

Boxers like Johnson frustrate the hell out of me. Got the physical attributes and skill to be world beaters but cannot get motivated to put it all into his job! You've just got to look how he ran and stunk the place out against klitscko, the biggest fight of his life.

For the record I think he has the skill to destroy fury but wether he would use it would be a different story.

Fury (or Price) should fight Hamer. Hamer's stock is high but I don't think he's particularly good over a longer-duration, and he failed to cope with the height of Fury-sized Kelvin Price; the reward outweighs the risk in my opinion.

I think Fury would outwork Johnson and win a lopsided decision. Johnson isn't nearly as skilled as some people think; against decent opposition he gets hit plenty and his offence isn't very effective.

Actually this could be a decent match for Fury. Johnson is a name (as far as names go in the poor heavyweight division) and it would be a sensible step from a Vinny Maddalone to a Klit.
I think Johnson would frustrate him but it would certainly test Tyson's resolve.

Johnson has just lost to Hamer (Sosnowski arguably beat him as well) and he looked like crap. He is not a legitimate opponent for Fury, although he would be a half decent opponent for Price.

Fury needs a good opponent after Maddalone, as neither he or Rogan are impressive wins for Fury. Johnson is not good enough.

I'd pick Johnson over Fury.... I don't think Fury could stop him and I think after a few rounds Johnson would have him walking onto the jab and taking shots regularly. Johnson is a lazy SoB in the ring so I'm sure Fury could outwork him early, but I think he'd eat alot of shots, well when I say alot, I mean the vast majority of the few that Johnson throws... Johnson by late stoppage, or close decision but in control of the 2nd half of the fight.

Johnson is below Fury in the rankings and with good reason, because he is not as good. Fury would outwork him and stop him. Johnson deserves no hype, he is not very good.

I think the idea that Fury would stop Johnson is pretty funny though, Fury would do what Klitschko couldn't? Fight won't happen anyway, Fury is ranked #9 by the ring magazine and rightly has his sights set on bigger names right now, like Vinny Maddlone.

Maddalone is a joke opponent. Fury is only fighting him because of the European Championships and the Olympic Games getting in the way of hyping a proper fight against a good opponent.

Vitali's inability to stop Johnson 2.5 years ago, doesn't mean that Fury couldn't do it. Vitali is letting a lot of his opponents go the distance now, he is not the fighter he once was.

If Johnson would be as bad against Fury as he was in Prizefighter then I think there is a good chance that he would be stopped.

If Johnson trained properly and had a far more positive mindset then it would be a different matter, but he seems to have a bad attitude and Fury seems to be taking things more seriously now than he has before.

I never realised it was that poor. A draw in his 4th fight with Sultan, but thats it really. A win over seldon, and lasting distance with klitchko when lewis (was it) pulled out!

Hold my horses! Did vitali step in for johnson when HE fought lewis? As appose to my arse about face suggestion.

Johnson hasnt even fought a peter, barret, guinn, chagaev, brewster, byrd etc.... Way he was speaking before the final he was "moving into elite".

Why on earth was he fighting lewis then?

I realised my mistake over who replaced who, but why was johnson foing in with lewis at 2-0???

Kevin Johnson never had anything to do with Lewis.

Kirk Johnson, who was then 34-1-1, was scheduled to fight Lewis. Johnson pulled out and Vitali replaced him.

Fury doesn't need Johnson (why would he want to fight a guy who couldn't win a very average prizefighter anyway) but if they fought I'd pick Fury for the win. It would be an "all to lose and nothing to gain fight".

He's on a bit of a hiding to nothing is fury. At 23?24? He must be one of the youngest heavies in the top 20-30 in the world. If he goes by standard stereotype he's got a food 7 years till his peak. Alvarez, chaves jr even hatton were fed pretty much stiffs for at least their first 25 fights. I expect we'll see same from fury. You could argue thaxton was furys chisora, and it mustve been rickys 20th fight, plus ricky had a long amateur career.

Tyson outworks him to win a UD

It's a winnable fight for Fury, but over 12 rounds Johnson is a different proposition, as Hamer made clear after his win, pretty much acknowledging how little Prizefighter means.
