I don't think think it's damaging unless one of the really big names gets caught like a Mayweather, Pac or Klitschko but they're clean based on the same tests that are catching the cheats so it's a good thing for the sport longterm.TerribleTerry wrote:It is starting to get ridiculous now with the number of high profile fighters that have pissed hot recently. Not completely the same tests in all cases, Peterson and Berto *although his is still under review* were caught by the VADA system which is far more precise than the methods used by the commissions! Pacquaio to my knowledge has only been tested by the athletic commissions. Mayweather and Cotto i know were tested by WADA i think who have a very similar system to VADAexittored wrote:I don't think think it's damaging unless one of the really big names gets caught like a Mayweather, Pac or Klitschko but they're clean based on the same tests that are catching the cheats so it's a good thing for the sport longterm.TerribleTerry wrote:It is starting to get ridiculous now with the number of high profile fighters that have pissed hot recently. Yes that's true, i was just talking about the Tarver case as that would be a standard commision test too.leftysreturn wrote:Not completely the same tests in all cases, Peterson and Berto *although his is still under review* were caught by the VADA system which is far more precise than the methods used by the commissions! Yep, admits it in his autobiography. Was the reason he didn't go the Olympics in 1996. Then he turned pro, thirty pounds heavier.Omerta wrote:Vitali failed a piss test in 96????exittored wrote:I don't think think it's damaging unless one of the really big names gets caught like a Mayweather, Pac or Klitschko but they're clean based on the same tests that are catching the cheats so it's a good thing for the sport longterm.TerribleTerry wrote:It is starting to get ridiculous now with the number of high profile fighters that have pissed hot recently.
