Boxrec records cannot be trusted. Dempsey was the greatest

Boxrec has Jack Dempsey listed has having fought 83 career fights, yet Dempsey himself has claimed he fought more than 150 fights. including scoring 58 first round KOs. The link below claims Dempsey fought 148 fights scoring 108 KOs which would make Jack Dempsey the greatest KO artist in Heavyweight History by a long long way.

I've read in a few places that Jack threw some of his fights and the Fireman Jim Flynn fight was one of them.
