5 time ABA Heavyweight champion turns pro at 39

39-year-old Stephen Reynolds who is a 5 time Irish senior champion at Heavyweight and Super Heavyweight is turning pro next month in Belfast. Anyone remember him?

I always thought there was some ruling against when a fighter is allowed to turn pro. I thought you couldn't turn pro at 31 (although you could embark on a comeback in your 40's).
Obviously not...

I don't know about the UK but Dewey Bozella made his debut at 52.

Yeah, his brother Alan won 7 straight Irish senior titles and his Stephen's trainer now.

i really like moses matovu from what i heard he did not get a fair result against nathan owens could be a cracking fight.

Reynolds weighed in yesterday on the same bill that Kiko Martinez is on tonight in Belfast.

He's been back in Ireland year. He's actually off this bill now. Doubt he will fight again.
