Peterson is no longer the super champ - the winner of Khan/Garcia will assume the mantle of unified champ. The Dark Destroyer wrote:Does that mean they've stripped Peterson of the WBA super duper champion title or is it just the regular WBA title that Maidana gave up to fight Alexander?

Maidana can continue to fool the general public in his homeland with his bogus strap.
Ironically, Schaefer is promoting the INTERIM WBA light-welterweight title in Mexico on July 21st. And on the very same date, in the very same country, the WBO version is also tentatively scheduled. Plus the IBO version takes place in Russia in October.kingfinn wrote:If the IBF do the same wont that mean the winner becomes Undisputed Champ?oliverc wrote:Peterson is no longer the super champ - the winner of Khan/Garcia will assume the mantle of unified champ. The Dark Destroyer wrote:Does that mean they've stripped Peterson of the WBA super duper champion title or is it just the regular WBA title that Maidana gave up to fight Alexander?
