Anyone got any serious suggestions for an entrance track?

I'm stuck.

"Sweet Child in Time" by Guns 'n Roses is massively underused as ring music. Check it out. The guitar solo at the start of the song builds up to a massive crescendo as the song kicks in.
And ask the MC not to introduce you, Dean. When you get the call, walk to the ring on spec and let the spotlight pick you out. It makes a fighter look like he really wants it. Announcing a fighter's walk to the ring destroys such spontaneity. In fact, it's boring.

I remember George Foreman used to run to the ring (and later Larry Holmes). It was awesome. It's a kind of a play on what I mentioned earlier. Announcing a fighter's ring entrance is a TV phenomenon, designed for those sitting at home, and the paying punters in the hall are the losers. To hear great music, then see the spotlight light up a fighter already on his way to the ring, used to send tingles down one's spine.

Or bring a sexy lady with you to distract the ref, and then twat him with a steel chair!! textbook stuff.

Seriously though, try 'Respect' by the Notorious BIG (off ready to die), whenever I'm about to have a fight with my little sister it gets me in the right mood.

Incidentally, Dean, pick up your nearest Boxing Record Book and look for the KO1 or TKO1 on any fighter's record - then look at his very next fight.
Nine times out of 10, it's a distance fight. Bear that in mind, mate.

What type of music are you into mate? And if it's 'allsorts' (it often is) do you want something hyped, dark and menacing, cheerful, cool and laid back; what?

Bear this in mind though. How many times out of ten do you see someone come out of years of retirement and dispatch of a 90 fight veteran survivor in half a round.

Boxing is as unpredictable a sport as they come. I'm all for studying trends and written facts, but at the end of the day anything can happen in the ring, and usually does. However, its not so much as so what happens in the ring on fight night, more so what has happened in the weeks prior to the fight in the gym.

How about Breathe by Prodigy, Guaranteed to get the adrenalin and the crowd moving. Great work out track also.

I want something that the mojority of the crowd will like..I dont care if I like the track or not.

You don`t think most like it then...I think it`s a great build up track.
