Magee's people should be looking to make a move now. He is as ready as he will ever be and doesn't need anymore step up fights in my opinion.

Let him loose on the division's elite. I reckon he will have no problems hanging with them.

BREAKING NEWS

Magee opponent announced!

By Keith Holland

IBO super-middleweight champion Brian Magee will defend his title on April 17 at the Kings Hall, Belfast, Northern Ireland, against Nordin Ben-Salah. Magee (21-0; 15KOs) has stopped his last three opponents in defence of this title and will be expected to make it four in front of the knowledgeable Irish public. Ben-Salah (36-2-1; 26KOs) is better known as 'Fighting Nordin'. The Moroccan-born, Dutch based fighter recently held a WBA-Intl belt but faces a big task in this one against the improving Magee.

Decent record, but I've never heard of him.

I wanted to see Magee in with Sheika - his career is stagnating at this moment.

Just what I was thinking. Shieka's got good power, but if you can get past that, he seems very beatable. He's the super middle Randall Bailley

This is from http://www.knock-out.dk

Former WBA Int´l supermiddle champ Fighting Nordin was shot to death last night in Amsterdam. The 32-year old Nordin, 36-2-1, last fought a year ago when he won a split decision over Francisco Mora to regain the WBA Int´l title, which he later vacated. He was currently sidelined with an arm injury but was expected to return to the ring this fall. No reasons given for the shooting and there´s more to come on this tragic event.
