It's not an immediate rematch. It'll be next March according to the article. So Froch will likely have 1 more fight before then and Bute may have 2 before then.

It would get US tv as well a big name as well. Kessler v Froch needs to be in a bigger venue than arena

Froch v Bute 2 is a million miles away from happening. Anything can happen to both fighters between now and March to scupper such a showdown. I think this is just rhetoric on Team Bute's part

Not sure its possible during footy season anyway , but even still cant see it selling out , think Meadow lane would be a better option than City Ground TBH

It's not unheard of - Bruno v Bugner was at White Hart Lane in October; Benn v Eubank II at Old Trafford in October: Eubank v Watson II at WHL in September - I'm sure there are other examples, so it could be done.

Im thinking more along the lines of tickets being available for the Bute fight right up until fight night than the weather!

Is Kessler too much of a gamble for a massive fight with Bute (with seemingly little risk) in Canada next year.

Kessler looked done against Green though, saying that Pavlik has hardly excelled since losing to Hopkins back in the day.

I don't think Kessler fancies it, now it comes to crunch time.

His family wanted him to retire after their first fight, then he withdrew immediately from the super six.

He will price himself out of it.

Thats certainly the rumours i'm hearing. I think Froch will end up fighting someone like Bika which is a good fight as i dont think Pavlik will travel.
