Last night Mr Warren said that he has a huge announcement regarding Cleverly's next opponent. Anyone got any inside info?

Havent got any inside info but for some reason I have a feeling it might be a a fight against Hopkins in Cardiff or something! I just have a feeling especially with Hopkins coming off that loss to Dawson, if he beats Cleverly he beats an unbeaten fighter and becomes a world champion again and a player in the 175 divison again.

Think it is either a unification with Shumenov, or perhaps its Hopkins with some sort of interim belt (because Dawson is fighting Ward at super-middle) & Cleverly's on the line.
Reckon it will be one or the other

Definietly think they'd consider Hopkins a big fight over Shumenov but could be wrong.

I got a feeling it could be Hopkins over here at the end of year, but can't see any suitable venue for that fight in Wales. Hopefully a Vegas trip instead

Cardiff City stadium. Smaller than Upton Park, but still capable of holding 30,000 for boxing. Depending on tickets sales/projected sales it could be set up so it didnt look empty as well.

is that a big fight?! Maccarinelli looked atrocious against Mcphilbin and hasnt had a competitive fight at light heavy! That would be a joke really if thats what FW considers a really big fight.

I think it is just a rumour, someone started a thread, there was a lot of comment about it but no one could confirm anything

Earliest any fight would be is late September or early November, can you really see an outside show at that time of the year in sunny Cardiff.

What's the LBF stance on drug use?
It will not be Hopkins. I can see his name being bandied around and then a different fighter being announced with B-Hop being accused of refusing to travel / ducking Clev.

I would rather see him in with John Conteh than Macc. Would be a better fight too even at this point.

Lol at it being Hopkins.
Wish it was though to see what the opening line for Hopkins KO would be.

Fonfara (now he's beaten Johnson), White (after beating Sukhotsky), Chilemba (probably the most logical but also very tough) or Alvarez (very very fighter)
Unlikely to be any of them but I wouldn't complain if it was any of them...
